Winners of the Mixed Doubles Cup gave an interesting twist to the title of this golf event on a perfect afternoon at the Tampines course on Feb 1.
The prizes for the fun event went to a mixed bunch (men and women) and many golfers walked away with double takes.
Even the occasional slight haze did not affect sight as the 66 players remained focused on what the competition (pairs fourball stroke play) was all about.
Anthony Mo and Jenny Choi were clear winners on 61 net, two shots better than Bryan Koh and Nina Um.
Anthony Mo also claimed the fourth lucky draw prize of a PGA Tour black pouch to walk up the stage twice.
So did George Madhavan who won the Nearest The Pin prizes for holes 4 and 14.
Double takes also went to Calvin Goh (partnering Ding Jiao) for the fifth prize in the competition.
Xavier Tay also was a two-prize winner (fourth, with Dily Ng) in the competition and fifth in the lucky draw.
Dily too made it two wins by finishing best for the Nearest The Pin prize on hole 4.
The top three best dressed couples (in no particular order) were Ryan Wong/Melissa Sim, Leon Koh/Cheng Dee Jee and Calvin Goh/Ding Jao.

Diana Loh Hwee Hwee (Odyssey 2 Ball Blade Putter)
Low Inn Loong (TMCC Water Bottle) and,
Calvin Goh (PGA Tour Black Pouch).
