Spot Recognition Award to Honour Integrity

At Tanah Merah Country Club (TMCC), excellence goes beyond service. It is embodied in the everyday actions of our staff, who strive to make the Club a welcoming haven for our Members.

The Spot Recognition Award celebrates those who go above and beyond their duties to uphold TMCC’s values, and we are proud to shine the spotlight on one such individual.

On 28 March, at around 3.10pm, while carrying out his duties in the male shower rooms at the Sports Complex Changing Room, Krishnan A/L Subha Rao, one of our Changing Room Attendants, found a blue pouch left on the floor of a shower cubicle.

Upon inspection, the pouch contained a significant sum of cash and valuables including bank cards, an identity card, and other personal items.

Without hesitation, Krishnan quickly identified the Member from the ID card and informed the Sports Complex Admin team, who promptly contacted the Member. Just over an hour later, at 4.17pm, the Member returned to the counter to collect the pouch and was deeply appreciative of Krishnan’s honesty and swift action.

“When I found the pouch, my first thought was to make sure it got back to its owner as quickly as possible. I know how stressful it can be to lose something important, so I just wanted to help.” said Krishnan.

Krishnan’s integrity reflects the very heartbeat of TMCC. Our staff’s quiet but vital presence ensures that every Member who walks through our doors feels a sense of belonging, comfort and care.

It is often the thoughtful actions behind the scenes that uphold the Club’s reputation as a home away from home.
