Ryan Chia

On 17 September 2025, the fairways of Tanah Merah Country Club (TMCC) came alive in a striking sea of pink as more than 60 ladies’ members gathered for Drive For Pink, a spirited golf event in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Sponsored by RadLink, one of Singapore’s leading private and independent providers of diagnostic and molecular imaging services, the occasion seamlessly blended friendly competition with a powerful cause.

From the very first tee-off, the atmosphere was electric. Dressed in vibrant shades of pink, the ladies embodied both style and solidarity, turning the course into a moving symbol of unity. Played in a team Stableford format, the competition brought out skill, camaraderie and a dash of rivalry, reminding all that while scores mattered, the day’s true purpose was far greater.

The team of Jasmine Chew, Norlia Embong, Chew See Yu, and Dily Tay emerged champions with an impressive 102 points, edging out the runners-up in a nail-biting finish. Their teamwork and determination made for a thrilling contest, and their victory was warmly celebrated by all.

Adding a splash of flair to the event, the Best Dressed Team award went to Alicia Seah, Diana Loh Hwee Hwee, Elaine Law, and Tan Seow Hoon, who wowed with their creativity and pink-themed ensembles. Brenda Pek stole the spotlight as the Best Dressed Individual, perfectly capturing the spirit of Drive For Pink with her chic and playful look.

After the last putt dropped, the ladies adjourned to the Heliconia Room for a relaxed Makan Kechil session, where a spread of local delights set the stage for laughter, lively conversations and new friendships. The celebration was made even more meaningful with a presentation by Margareta Laminto, Managing Director of RadLink Group, who highlighted the life-saving importance of early detection and the role of advanced imaging in the fight against breast cancer. Her insights on cutting-edge diagnostics and radiopharmaceuticals reinforced the event’s message of hope and resilience.

Drive For Pink was more than just a day on the greens. It was a testament to the power of golf to bring people together, to inspire, and to make a difference. With the enthusiastic support of TMCC’s ladies and the partnership of RadLink, the event shone brightly as a celebration of sport, community and compassion—leaving an impact that will resonate far beyond the course.
