Tanah Merah Country Club (TMCC) is proud to unveil its latest international affiliation, a reciprocal arrangement with Royal Canberra Golf Club (RCGC) in Australia’s Capital Territory. This partnership reflects TMCC’s ongoing commitment to broadening the horizons of its members by connecting them with some of the world’s most prestigious golfing destinations.
Established in 1926, Royal Canberra comprises three distinct nines:
- The Westbourne Course and Yarralumla Course, originally designed by Commander John Harris in 1962 and subsequently redesigned by OCCM in 2016.
- The Brindabella Course, a links‑style nine created by five‑time Open Champion Peter Thomson in 1997.

Set within the magnificent Westbourne Woods Arboretum, Royal Canberra offers a 27-hole championship layout that blends elegance with challenge. Its tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and serene setting have earned it a reputation as one of Australia’s finest private clubs. Located just 30 minutes from Canberra Airport, RCGC provides both accessibility and a unique opportunity to experience golf in the nation’s capital.
Through this reciprocal arrangement, TMCC members gain exclusive access to RCGC’s facilities, adding another jewel to TMCC’s growing portfolio of international affiliations. Whether travelling for leisure or business, Members can now enjoy the prestige of playing at Royal Canberra, further enhancing the breadth of their TMCC membership.
